As a consultant in the firm’s Munich office, Olaf is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Technology, Communications & Media and Financial Officer practices, specializing in media.
Olaf’s work in the sector has focused on helping to recruit senior executives for some of the world’s top companies, including Walt Disney, Bertelsmann and Reed Elsevier. He also has worked on numerous German and cross-border assignments in operations, sales and marketing, finance, human resources and general management.
Prior to joining Spencer Stuart in 1999, Olaf spent four years in executive search with another leading executive search firm, where he focused on the recruitment of professionals in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry as well as leisure and hospitality. Prior to this, Olaf worked for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and the “Leading Hotels of the World,” where he was sales manager for the Spanish and Portuguese markets.
He holds a degree in business administration from the universities of Munich and Worms, Germany.
