Mauro Capriata joined Spencer Stuart in 1998. He is responsible for the firm's Consumer Goods & Services Practice in Italy and leads the European Retail, Apparel & Luxury Goods Practice.
Over the past eight years, he has worked with a broad spectrum of both Italian and multinational consumer goods companies on senior-level appointments around the world in general management, sales, marketing, finance, R&D and purchasing.
In the luxury and apparel industry he has recruited chief executives and senior executives in retail, marketing, merchandising, sales, export, R&D, production/sourcing and purchasing. He also works with clients to assess senior management teams.
Mauro was formerly general manager of Europe Assistance Partners in Italy after almost 20 years with multinational companies in a variety of senior sales and marketing roles. Mauro holds a degree in organic chemistry from the University of Milan. Italian is his native language and he speaks English and French fluently.
