Spencer Stuart Appoints Bruce Lachenauer to Lead Southern California Offices

Orange County, October 2, 2007—Spencer Stuart, one of the world’s leading global executive search consulting firms, is pleased to announce that Bruce Lachenauer has been named to lead Spencer Stuart’s Southern California offices in Los Angeles and Orange County.
Lachenauer succeeds Mike Bruce, who has been selected to lead the firm’s fast-growing China business and is relocating to Shanghai to fulfill that role.

Lachenauer joined Spencer Stuart’s Orange County office and Technology, Communications & Media Practice in 2002, advising a broad range of clients from Fortune 100 technology companies to early stage venture capital-backed startups on their executive leadership needs. Most recently, he led the firm’s global Computing Systems and Semiconductors practices and, currently, is a member of the firm’s Boards practice. He has completed hundreds of executive and board director search assignments since entering the industry in 1995. Lachenauer is a member of the board of directors of Octane, Orange County’s principal business growth and development organization, and he is a 1987 M.B.A. Harvard Business School graduate.
Spencer Stuart’s Los Angeles office has been addressing leadership needs since 1978, and the Orange County office opened in 2001 to respond to a growing demand for executive leadership in the region.
