Spencer Stuart Opens Office in Dubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, October 21, 2007 - Spencer Stuart, a global executive search consulting firm, today announced that it has opened an office in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to serve as the base for its Middle Eastern business. It is Spencer Stuart’s 51st office, worldwide, and the firm now has offices in 27 countries. Located in the Dubai International Financial Centre, Spencer Stuart will provide services throughout the region across the financial services; consumer; life sciences; technology, communications and media; and industrial sectors.

The operation will be headed by Kenneth V. Eckhart who has been appointed managing director of Spencer Stuart's Middle East business. Peter F.T. Roberts and Robert B. Wilder, both with significant experience in the region, will join the initial team of consultants in the Dubai office.

Eckhart has worked throughout North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region on behalf of established and start-up organizations. His previous management responsibilities include the Southeast Asia region, the Miami office and the firm’s Global Logistics Practice.
Peter Roberts is a prior managing director of the firm's Singapore office and, most recently, he worked within Spencer Stuart’s China operations in the Hong Kong office before relocating to Dubai.
Rob Wilder is a key member of the firm’s global Technology, Communications & Media Practice. He leads the global IT & Business Services Practice, and works in the Professional Services Practice across the European and Middle Eastern regions.
